Easy way to make RESTAURANT STYLE GOBI MANCHURIAN ( রেস্টুরেন্ট স্টাইল ফুলকপির মাঞ্চুরিয়ান ) at home by Indian Food Masti


GOBI MANCHURIAN is a very popular &  delicious Indo-Chinese dish. In Hindi 'Gobi' means cauliflower. It is also a very popular street food where cauliflower florets are boiled, then dipped in a spicy batter and deep fried until crispy and then tossed in a spicy sauce which makes this dish a perfect appetizer to serve in and parties and get-together. You can also serve this as s side dish with any kind of noodles or Indo-Chinese rice dish. There are two ways to make this dish one is dry manchurian and the second one is gravy manchurian. Both recipes are equally good in taste. Gobi manchurian is the result of the adaptation of Chinese cooking and seasoning techniques to suit Indian taste and has become a staple of Indo-Chinese cuisine. It has a sweet tangy and slightly spicy flavour into it when you take the first bite of the crispy fried cauliflower coated with the sauce you will love the taste. It goes really well with Hakka noodles or with fried rice. It is super easy to make this dish at home. If you follow this recipe you will able to make a perfect restaurant style dish. INGREDIENTS:

For the Fried Cauliflower: (1) Cauliflower Florets 20 Pcs, (2) All Purpose Flour 1 Cup, (3) Ginger-Garlic Paste 1 Tbsp, (4) Corn Flour 1 Tbsp, (5) Soya Sauce 1 Tsp, (6) Red Chilli Powder 1 Tsp, (7) Salt to Taste, (8) Water as Required, (9) Oil for Frying.

For the Manchurian Gravy: (1) Chopped Ginger 1 Tbsp, (2) Chopped Garlic 1 Tbsp, (3) Slit Green Chilli 2 Pcs, (4) Chopped Onion-1 Pc (Small), (5) Spring Onion White 1 Tbsp, (6) Capsicum Cut Into Cubes - 1 Tbsp (Small), (7)  Spring Onion Green 1/2 Cup, (8) Black Pepper Powder 1/2 Tsp, (9) Tomato Sauce 2 Tbsp, (10) Red Chilli Sauce 1 Tsp, (11) Soya Sauce 1 Tsp, (12) Vinegar 1 Tsp, (13) Corn Flour 1 Tbsp, (14) Salt to Taste, (15) Water as Required, (16) Oil.

Making time of RESTAURANT STYLE GOBI MANCHURIAN:
Preparation time: 15 Minutes.
Cooking Time: 25 Minutes.
Total Time: 40 Minutes.

Step by step making process of RESTAURANT STYLE GOBI MANCHURIAN:
(1) Boil some water in a pan and add some salt in it.


(2) Add the cauliflower florets and boil for 2 minutes.


(3) Drain it and rinse the cauliflower with cold water and keep aside.


(4) Take a bowl and add the flour, Corn flour, ginger-garlic paste, salt to taste, red chilli powder, soya sauce, some water and mix it nicely. Make a smooth lumps free batter.



(5) Add the boiled cauliflower into the batter and coat it properly with the batter. 


(6) Heat some oil in a wok. Drop the batter coated cauliflower into the oil one by one. Fry the cauliflower till it become golden and crispy. Remove from the oil after frying and keep aside.


(7) Again heat some oil in a pan add the chopped garlic and chopped ginger and sauté. 


(8) Add the slit green chilli and sauté for a minute.


(9) Add the chopped onion and sauté.


(10) Add the chopped spring onion white and fry for a minute.


(11) Add the capsicum and stir fry it.


(12) Now add the tomato sauce, red chilli sauce, vinegar, soya sauce, salt to taste, black pepper powder and mix it nicely. 



(13) Now in a bowl take the corn flour and mix it with some water and make a slurry. Pour it into the sauce and keep string until the sauce become glossy in texture.




(14) Add the fried cauliflower and mix it with the sauce properly.


(15) Add the spring onion greens, give it a mix.
